1974 Volkswagen Type 181 "Thing"

Originally developed for the West German Army, the Type 181 was also sold to the public. The Type 181 took on a different name in every country it was distributed to – the USA’s version was strangely titled the ”Thing”. This particular model has 19,000 original miles and has been subtly restored to brand-new condition.
