Our Volkswagen Type 2 “Donut Bus” was built in 1966 and remains in original condition to this day. This is a fully-functional donut factory on wheels – it actually used to cruise the streets of Southern California selling donuts to whoever had a nickel in their pocket. This particular Type 2, with its iconic “Rolling Donuts” sign on the roof, still has its original sink, stove, service window, and menu!
The coolest part… This bus still drives like a charm. Over 60 years later this VW donut bus could hit the streets once more, leaving nothing but the irresistible aroma of donuts in its wake.
